AMERICA'S FUTURE
AMERICA'S FUTURE
by Gene Minix
It seems presidents and congress, too,
Too many times reach the conclusion
That the fact America was founded a Christian nation
Is just some far out illusion.
Maybe they haven't read the history books
That tell the story so very true.
That is has been God's hand upon this land
That has blessed the Red, White and Blue.
There was a time when our leaders
Were proud to stand and proclaim the Lord's name.
They didn't compromise with anyone
And the citizens did the same.
But now days it is different.
They are afraid they might offend, you see.
That they might hurt someone's feelings
And, oh, that just can't be.
So they push God our of the schools
And the country and make their own rules.
But God looks down from Heaven above
And God calls them "fools".
When a nation and it's people
Have no courage to do what is right
God's blessings will not come.
A country's light becomes dark as night.
There is no peace and prosperity
Away from God and His Word.
Blessings will not come to a nation
Until cries of repentance are heard.
Will America turn and come back to God?
Will it's leaders and it's people take a godly stand?
If we are wise, if we are to have God's blessings...we will.
If not, America will feel the wrath of God's hands.
So it's really up to America, isn't it!
The Bible is easy to understand.
Away from God comes His wrath.
With God, His protecting hands.
