MY CUP IS FULL AND OVERFLOWING

by Gene Minix

Thank you, Lord, for your blessings.
Sent down from Heaven above.
My cup is filled and overflowing.
O, how wonderful your sweet love.

You came into my heart
And now you live in my soul.
You forgave me of my sins.
You cleansed and made me whole.

Thank you, Lord, for your blessings.
Sent down from Heaven above.
My cup is filled and overflowing.
O, how wonderful your sweet love.

Yes, my cup is filled and overflowing.
There is a smile on my face.
Thank you, Lord, for loving me.
For your mercy and your grace.

Thank you, Lord, for your blessings.
Sent down from Heaven above.
My cup is filled and overflowing.
O, how wonderful your sweet love.

THE LORD WALKS UPON THE STORMS

by Gene Minix

The Lord walks upon the storms.
The clouds are the dust of His feet.
The winds and the waves obey His call.
So in the storms that come in this life,
I'll face them without fear.
Knowing my God is in control of all.

The Lord walks upon the storms.
The clouds are the dust of His feet.
He carries us safely in His hand.
So when the strong winds blow
I shall still be confident that all is well.
For the winds and the waves have to obey His command.

You Can Be The Rainbow

by Gene Minix

In everyone's life there comes some bad days.
And when they come, makes one really feel down.
But did you know, you can brighten the day
And help bring a smile where there was a frown.

You can be the rainbow
To the storms of life.
You can bring some peace and joy
And help take away the strife.
Reach out to those who are hurting.
You can help the storms go away.
You can be the rainbow,
You can brighten someone's day.

WALK ON A RAINBOW TRAIL

by Gene Minix

The Navajo have a saying.
One that sits mighty well.
They say there's a way out of dark mist
Over a rainbow trail.

Walk on a rainbow trail.
Walk on a trail of song.
All around you will be beauty
As you travel along.

The world can be tough sometimes,
There's no doubt about it.
But the love of God lights the day.
Come on now, sing and shout it.

Walk on a rainbow trail.
Walk on a trail of song.
Tell the world about Jesus
As you travel along.

Well, the dark clouds are all gone.
There's a rainbow in the sky.
Walk on a rainbow trail
And tell your troubles good-bye.

The world can be tough sometimes.
That surely is a fact.
But the love of God lights the day
And there's no doubt about that.

Walk on a rainbow trail.
Walk on a trail of song.
Ain't it a mighty good feeling
When all your troubles are gone.

SURE HAPPY AS CAN BE

by Gene Minix

The mountains are sure pretty.
The skies are peaceful and serene.
The prairie grass is growing.
It's 'bout knee high and green.

The cows are all content
As they mosey around.
I'm singing a happy song
And my horse moves to the sound.

His head is held high
As he trots along.
He's already smelling the fresh hay
As we head for home.

The shadows are falling
As we ride on down the trail.
I don't have to guide my horse,
He knows the way well.

Soon we'll be at the ranch house.
The little woman's waiting for me there.
I can see her standing at the door,
A yellow ribbon in her hair.

It's a good life, Dear Lord.
And I'm happy as I can be.
Those showers of blessings
Are falling down all over me.

Yes, it's a fine life you've given.
You are so good to me.
And this ole cowboy's sure thankful
And happy as can be.

FROM BLACK & WHITE
TO LIVING COLOR

by Gene Minix

If you are walking in a black and white world......
If the colors of your life are dull and drab.....
Hand the brush to Jesus!
He'll take from the silver of the star that shown
On that night He was born in Bethlehem.
He'll take from the red that flowed from Calvary.
He'll take from the gold of the morning sun
on that grand resurrection morning
and the royal blue of a King
and mix it with the emerald green of mercy
and He'll paint your life
a kaleidoscope
of wonderful color!
Shining,
Glistening,
Ablaze,
Radiant,
Bright,
Brilliant,
Beaming
Wonderful Living Color.
From a drab world to a world of vibrant color......
That's what Jesus will do for you!

Having   Jesus as Savior and Lord makes all
the difference in the colors of your life!

GOD'S FINGERPRINTS

by Gene Minix

The fingerprints of God are everywhere.
Just look around and you will see.
In the beauty of a rose, in the giant oak tree.
But most of all, in you and me.

You can see them in the clouds above
And in the moon and stars that shine through.
In the majestic mountains reaching tall
And in the oceans wide and blue.

In meadows of green, in the song of the lark.
In an eagle flying high above the trees.
The fingerprints of God are everywhere
But most of all, in you and me.

"And God said, Let us make man in our image,
after our likeness: and let them have dominion over
the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over
the cattle, and over all the earth and over every creeping thing
that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

-Genesis 1:26,27
