Early Morning Prayer.......If you want to have a fruitful day, talk to the Lord in the morning. Start your day off with prayer. If need be, set your clock a little earlier that you will have some time to spend talking with the Lord. Morning is a great time because you are fresh in mind, body and soul. This wonderful prayer time opens the gateway to God's love, mercy and compassion. When you get up in the morning say, "This is the day that the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it." A MORNING PRAYER by Gene Minix Dear God, I pray I'll not take for granted today The daily blessings you give Like the sweet smell of a flower and the green grassy hill. May I not walk at such a pace That I miss the beauty of the place, Nor the smile of a child at play Or the song of the blue jay.
